Job Summary

Manage a large technical team virtually while delivering core backbone services for the Navy-Marine Corps Intranet, including cybersecurity, network operations, and data transport. Conduct fault diagnosis, repair, installation, and configuration of NGEN-R network architectures, providing COMSEC local element support and managing encryption device assets. Perform maintenance on hardware, monitor network system health, and coordinate upgrades with stakeholders to ensure STIG compliance and minimize user impact. Drive incident response, change management, and problem resolution activities while maintaining accurate site documentation and managing configuration drift.

Required Qualifications

  • BA/BS Degree
  • MS/MBA
  • 4+ years of prior relevant experience
  • 2+ years of prior relevant experience
  • additional years of experience
  • DOD Secret Security Clearance
  • ability to upgrade to and maintain a TS Security Clearance
  • DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II Certification
  • Network Vendor Associate Level or higher Certification
  • Ability to be scheduled to work, or be called in to work during off hours and weekends
  • Working knowledge of defense-in-depth principles

  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs vertically using ladders
  • Must be able to work in confined spaces
  • Must be able to work in noisy environments
  • Must be able to stand or sit for 8 hours at a time
  • Must be able to utilize basic hand tools
  • Must have normal color vision
  • Must have correctable vision to 20/20 or better
  • Must have depth perception
  • Must be able to use and read digital test equipment
  • Must be able to drive corporate vehicle
