Job Summary
Interpret regulatory compliance and fair claims practices to create comprehensive damage estimates for 1st and 3rd party material claims. Negotiate settlements, make payments, and document complex files while applying mastered content to all policy types. Conduct vehicle inspections virtually and in the field within the Los Angeles area, utilizing CCC ONE software to prepare accurate estimates for all severities. Build relationships with internal and external customers, including repair facilities, while assisting leadership in formal and ad hoc training on company processes. This remote, territory-based role serves as a peer mentor for those who have mastered our estimating fundamentals.
Required Qualifications
- Active insurance license
- Must terminate all existing appointments prior to onboarding
- Must not hold any outside appointments at any point during employment
- Applicants seeking an adjuster role who also hold a resident producer license must formally surrender that license
- Candidates must possess authorization to work in the United States
- Must have a dedicated, private workspace free from distractions
- Must have appropriate desk and seating
- Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload
