Job Summary
Create comprehensive damage estimates for 1st and 3rd party material loss claims and lead to proper disposition. Negotiate settlements, make payments, and document activities in complex files while interpreting regulatory compliance and fair claims practices. Build relationships with internal and external customers by applying mastered policy interpretations and assisting leadership in training. Conduct vehicle inspections and utilize estimating software to prepare accurate damage estimates for all severities. This peer mentor role supports the Idaho claims team, requiring candidates to reside in or near the Boise metro area. Applicants must surrender any existing insurance or producer licenses prior to onboarding.
Required Qualifications
- Candidates must possess authorization to work in the United States
- Individuals must hold an active insurance license
- Individuals must terminate all existing appointments prior to onboarding
- Individuals must not hold any outside appointments at any point during employment
- Applicants seeking an adjuster role who also hold a resident producer license must formally surrender that license
- Applicants acknowledge and accept licensing requirements and agree to comply
- Must be able to reside in or near the Boise metro area, including Meridian, Middleton, Nampa, Kuna, Caldwell, Greenleaf, Notus, Huston, and surrounding areas
Desired Qualifications
- Experience managing a variety of auto collision claims
- Conducting vehicle inspections
- Utilizing CCC ONE or similar estimating software to prepare accurate damage estimates
- Experience as an experienced auto damage estimator
- Enjoying a blend of fieldwork, virtual claim handling, and customer service
