Job Summary
Create or audit comprehensive damage estimates for first and third-party material claims in auto or specialty lines to ensure proper disposition. Negotiate settlements, process payments, and document complex files across multiple lines while evaluating alternatives against regulatory compliance and fair claims practices. Train, mentor, and provide technical assistance on material damage claims while controlling quality and building relationships with internal and external customers. This field position is based in the Iredell, NC area, with applicants from Alexander County also considered. Compensation ranges from $28.03 to $42.99 per hour based on experience.
Required Qualifications
- Candidates must possess authorization to work in the United States
- Possesses strong estimating fundamentals
- Possesses a deep understanding of the content of all policy types written by the company
- Must be able to negotiate settlements
- Must be able to make settlement payments
- Must be able to document all activities in the most complex of files across multiple lines
- Must be able to evaluate settlement alternatives by reviewing regulatory compliance and fair claims practices
- Must be able to make decisions on best option
- Must be able to build mastered relationships with both internal and external customers across multiple lines
- Must be able to create or audit estimates of damages on 1st and 3rd party material damage losses of all severities
- Must be able to train
- Must be able to mentor
- Must be able to control quality
- Must be able to provide technical assistance on material damage claims
- Must be available for the Iredell, NC area
