Job Summary
Assist Field Engineers in performing Home Energy Audits in accordance with RESNET/Energy Star Guidelines on active residential construction sites. Aid in data collection and visual inspection of energy-efficient features, verify model/serial numbers, assess duct work, insulation, framing, air sealing, and ventilation. Operate testing equipment for infiltration, blower door, ventilation, and duct leakage testing; adjust system settings to meet design or manufacturer specifications. Must be physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, work outdoors, and travel daily within the Charlottesville, VA area. Requires a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to undergo background check and/or drug testing. Paid on-the-job training and development opportunities provided.”,
Required Qualifications
- Must be working toward a High School Diploma or GED OR working toward a Vocational Certificate or College Degree in a Skilled Trades Industry
- Valid driver’s license in good standing with insurable driving record
- Must have reliable transportation and the ability to travel daily to job sites
- Must be willing to undergo a background check and/or drug testing, in accordance with local law/regulations
