Job Summary
Serve as a primary technical contact for customers, sales, distributors, and engineering teams, supporting engagements from product discovery through design-in, launch, and production. Help customers evaluate, integrate, and deploy Syntiant's edge AI, processor, sensor, and software solutions by leading demonstrations, workshops, and application reviews. Recommend solutions based on performance needs and system constraints while troubleshooting hardware, software, and system-level issues. Share customer requirements and market feedback with internal teams to drive issues to closure. Create technical documentation, training materials, and demo content. Partner with sales to support customer adoption and travel as needed to customer sites, trade shows, and Syntiant locations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field
- 8+ years of relevant experience in field applications, applications engineering, systems engineering, embedded product support, technical product management, or a similar customer-facing technical role
- Solid embedded systems background, with experience across processors, microcontrollers, sensors, audio, connectivity, or related semiconductor technologies
- Working knowledge of embedded software, firmware, drivers, development kits, operating systems, and customer prototype environments
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and system-level issues and drive timely resolution with customers and internal teams
- Ability to understand customer requirements, recommend practical solutions, and clearly explain technical tradeoffs
- Strong written, verbal, presentation, and technical documentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with sales, product, business, and engineering teams
- Travel as needed to customer sites, trade shows, sales regions, and Syntiant locations
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with edge AI, machine learning deployment, low-power systems, acoustic applications, or competitive product analysis
