Job Summary
Field Applications Engineer at KLA in Singapore. Responsibilities include providing applications development support to PWG and Wafersight products, developing field use cases, characterizing new products/features, demonstrating metrology relevance to customer yield issues, and delivering field technical support and product demonstrations. Must assess customer needs, prepare detailed product specifications, and communicate feedback to Engineering. Requires strong technical skills, ability to work independently, data analysis capabilities, and willingness to travel (>15%). Preferred candidates hold Master’s or Bachelor’s degrees in engineering, physics, materials science, or related fields; MATLAB or Python skills are a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Level Degree and 0 years related work experience; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 2 years
- Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or related fields
- Excellent oral and written communication, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
- Programming and scripting skills in MATLAB or Python are a plus
