Job Summary

Cultivate business opportunities through technical product application support, demonstrations, joint calls with sales, and direct customer visits. Plan territory technical sales visits, events, and trainings while generating reports to capture all engagements. Coordinate on-the-job training for new opportunities, design PV layouts in IR software, and accurately document application support questions. Provide customer feedback on product improvements and training content, and regularly report on the competitive landscape and market intelligence. Maintain records of changes in products, market trends, and code compliance for weekly meetings. Design curriculum for new products including reference libraries and multimedia aids. Based in Northeast with a preference for New England, this role requires OSHA 10 certification and rooftop safety skills. IronRidge, an Enstall company, manufactures structural hardware for residential and commercial solar systems, leveraging its position as the largest rooftop solar mounting group in the U.S.

Required Qualifications

  • Three to five years related experience and/or training or a bachelor's degree from a 4-year college or university; or equivalent combination of experience and education
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional journals, technical installation and engineering, procedures, and governmental regulations
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to lift and carry solar modules up to 50 lbs
  • Must be comfortable working at heights, including rooftop
  • Familiarity with Salesforce (CRM systems), and MS Excel and able to learn and adapt to a variety of software tools
  • Competency in solar layout, design, mounting, waterproofing, and racking for residential and light commercial installations
  • Ability to speak in public to small and large groups
  • OSHA 10 Construction required
  • Must be available for travel to Northeast with a preference for candidates in New England
