Job Summary
Field Applications Engineer III/IV/V responsible for on-site technical support, process optimization, and product integration for semiconductor materials. Travel to customer sites to troubleshoot, run lab and fab trials, and relay customer needs to cross-functional teams. Build and maintain technical documentation, lead and participate in FMEA discussions, provide training and demonstrations, and mentor junior engineers. Serve as primary technical contact across multiple customer accounts, coordinating with R&D, quality, manufacturing, and product management to deliver technical solutions and enable customer success. Roles escalate from technical execution (III) to strategic field engagement and leadership (IV/V) with increasing responsibility, including leading major customer engagements, developing training programs, and aligning field observations with company R&D and long-term planning. Education and credentials include Bachelor's (plus 4+ years) or Master's (plus 2+ years) or equivalent experience; travel-intensive, customer-facing, and globally distributed work in a semiconductor context.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical, electrical, or mechanical Engineering or materials science or related discipline and 4+ years of experience
- Master’s degree in a related field and 2+ years of experience
- An equivalent combination of education and related experience
