Job Summary
Onsite Field Applications Engineer supporting OSV and quality issue handling for Flex customer factories in Taipei. Responsibilities include onsite verifications for customer RMAs before return to factory, OSV/FA reports, site verification of factory-compliant issues, tester-gap analysis for customer site conditions, maintaining and optimizing OSV fixtures and SOPs, customer-site sorting/rework support, coordinating with internal teams to respond to quality problems, visiting customers termly, and developing improvement plans for field returns. The role requires collaboration across teams, risk management, and producing professional reports. Required skills include a college degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automation, New Energy, Mechatronics or related majors; at least 1 year in switching power supply, battery pack, or BMS engineering analysis/testing; familiarity with PSU/BBU/Power rack manufacturing processes; proficiency with testing equipment (Hi-pot testers, oscilloscopes, electronic loads, Chroma systems, PM-bus reading), ability to read schematics and PCB layouts, understanding of lithium battery PACK structure and BMS functions (I2C/CAN/SMBus); and strong data analysis and English communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- College degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automation, New Energy, Mechatronics or related majors
- At least 1 year of working experience in switching power supply, battery pack, BMS engineering analysis or testing
- Familiar with PSU/BBU/Power rack manufacturing process
- Familiar with common power supply testing schematic (Hi-pot test, auto functional test, FRU test)
- Proficient with test equipment (oscilloscopes, electronic loads, power analyzers, Hi-pot tester, Chroma system)
- Able to read schematics and PCB layout, understand lithium battery PACK structure and BMS functions (I2C/CAN/SMBus)
- Proficient in professional technical reporting (failure analysis, risk assessment, DFMEA/PFMEA)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to collaborate with internal teams and customers
- English language ability
