Job Summary
Lead technical aspects of the sales cycle by interfacing with customers, internal product development, and the sales team to foster business partnerships. Deliver discovery, design, prototyping, and production support while providing technical marketing for product development and design. Prepare and present technical solutions to address customer concerns, develop application-specific materials, and devise strategies to differentiate products from competitors. Travel to customer or Amphenol locations in the US or Taiwan as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline
- 2+ years' experience in Design or Applications Engineering of electrical hardware components/ interconnect solutions industry
- Experience providing product marketing and technical support to produce design wins
- Proficient in communicating across organizational hierarchies
- High level of customer service, ability to build rapport with customers
- Proficient use of modeling tools such as Creo or Solid Works
- Strong organizational and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong Program/Project Management
- Some travel will be required to other customer or Amphenol locations in the US or Taiwan
