Job Summary
Field Applications Engineer (Altera FPGA) role focused on championing return on engineering investment and driving demand creation by maximizing Arrow content on customer designs. Responsibilities include providing technical support and consulting across pre- and post-sales, partnering with the sales team, conducting technical calibrations with internal teams and suppliers, promoting design-win initiatives, attending supplier trainings, and managing stakeholder expectations. Required skills include FPGA design experience, CRM (Salesforce), advanced Excel, familiarity with AI tools, and strong communication with the ability to work independently and in small teams. Hybrid work arrangement is available (3 days in office, 2 days remote) in San Jose, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or related engineering degree
- Experience with FPGA Design and/or similar experience
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRM tool
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel experience
- Familiar with AI tools
- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and also to work well in small teams
- Strong communication skills
