Job Summary
Partner with the Sales team to drive pre-sales activities and early-stage design-in strategies for biopharmaceutical and CDMO customers in Korea. Engage directly with clients to understand molecule attributes and development timelines, translating insights into effective resin evaluation and adoption strategies. Provide technical leadership during proof-of-concept studies and comparative evaluations, guiding customers through discovery, process development, and manufacturing stages. Coordinate multiple resin evaluations across key accounts, position Purolite resins within customer pipelines, and collaborate with Applications, Product Management, and Marketing to share regional market trends and competitive insights.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Master's or PhD in a relevant life science or engineering discipline
- ≥5 years of relevant experience in downstream purification, process development, MSAT, or applications
- Strong working knowledge of chromatographic techniques for protein and large‐molecule purification
- Ability to interpret chromatography and analytical data (e.g., HPLC, ELISA, SDS‐PAGE)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical expertise into clear commercial value for diverse customer audiences
- Strong understanding of the biopharmaceutical, CDMO, and biotech landscape in Korea
- Experience supporting resin evaluation, process development, or technology selection across diverse customer types and development stages
- Practical experience with chromatography operations across discovery, pilot, and manufacturing environments
- Experience in customer-facing technical or commercial roles (e.g., FAS, Product Specialist, Technical Sales, or equivalent)
- Ability to manage multiple fast-moving opportunities within the Korea market
- Based in Korea
- Contract type: Regular employment (정규직)
