Job Summary
Deploy and operate robotic systems in the field, including drones, quadrupeds, and humanoid robots, while supporting testing, data collection, and client presentations. Supervise remote operations, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and document technical findings to facilitate communication between engineers and non-technical stakeholders. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to iterate on system performance and usability. This fully onsite, fixed-term role in Tokyo requires a proactive candidate with a technical background in robotics or related fields, offering flexible working hours to support work-life balance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field
- Strong communication skills—able to translate complex technical topics for various audiences
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work well in team-based environments
- You will be based out of our Tokyo, Japan location
- Prefer Local Candidates
Desired Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with robotics hardware (drones, quadrupeds, humanoids, or similar)
- Familiarity with basic electronics, sensors, and robotic subsystems
- Basic coding/scripting skills (Python, C++, or similar)
- Prior experience in field testing, remote operations, or client-facing tech roles is a plus
