Job Summary
Field Applications Engineer supports customers onsite with the deployment, operation and demonstration of AirPixel products, combining hands-on technical support, product demonstrations and customer-facing engineering with a strong feedback loop into our engineering and product teams. When not deployed with customers, you will be based at our Buckingham site, playing a key role in User Acceptance Testing of new releases and helping shape the product roadmap with field-driven insight. Worldwide travel is a core part of this role, around 25-50% of time, often at short notice, with trips ranging from 1-2 days to multi-week deployments; onsite work follows live production schedules, including early starts, weekends and unsocial hours, with time off in lieu and/or overtime provided.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year’s experience in a broadcast engineering, live production engineering or product role
- Hands-on experience supporting live broadcasts, OB operations, studio production or major live events
- Confident customer-facing communicator, able to explain technical concepts clearly to both engineers and non-technical stakeholders
- Willing and able to travel worldwide at short notice, holding a valid passport with no restrictions on international travel
- Full UK driving licence
