Job Summary
Field Application Engineer to support AMD in the North American Channel sales, focusing on pre-sales and development enablement. Role involves building technical relationships with target accounts, guiding customers and partners through design, deployment, and optimization of AMD-based Client and Server solutions, delivering technical presentations and training, and translating customer requirements into AMD-enabled architectures across AI, edge-to-cloud, and high-performance workloads. Requires hands-on technologist with deep knowledge of AI frameworks, edge system architectures, and AMD Ryzen & EPYC technologies. Travel up to 30%. Location: US - Remote.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in advanced computing, CPU systems architecture and AI platforms
- Architecture, provisioning, and deployment of applications to public and private cloud environments
- Strong understanding of AMD CPU Ryzen & EPYC architecture
- Experience with Windows & Linux performance tuning
- Excellent communication skills across technical and executive audiences
- Knowledge of microprocessor architecture and operating systems (Windows/Linux)
- Ability to travel up to 30%
