Job Summary
Field Adjuster (Residential or Commercial) in California (Anaheim) on a 1099 contract. Responsible for completing residential and commercial field property inspections using Xactimate, investigating claims by interviewing insureds, claimants, and witnesses, and reviewing coverage forms. Prepare and analyze loss documentation including Statements of Loss, Proof of Loss, and denial letters; develop well-supported claim reserves and captioned reports for clients; ensure compliance with best practices and maintain high-quality product outputs. Requires knowledge of property and liability insurance coverage, strong verbal and written communication skills, time management, and the ability to interpret official reports. California state adjuster license and a valid driver’s license are required; keeping estimating software (Xactimate preferred) and computer access is necessary. Preferred but not required: college degree or professional designations (AIC, IICRC, HAAG); ability to pass background checks. Servicing various carriers in P&C insurance with emphasis on field property adjustments.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year first-party commercial and/or residential property adjusting experience
- California state adjusters license
- Must have a valid drivers license
