Job Summary

Field Access Manager (FAM) on the Plasma-Immunology Patient Access team. Drives patient access by navigating reimbursement and access challenges for providers and institutions, delivering field-based reimbursement education to key accounts, and building collaborative relationships to ensure timely therapy initiation and continuation. Partners with healthcare organizations to resolve access issues, educates internal teams on reimbursement scenarios, and stays informed on healthcare policy and regulatory requirements to address marketplace opportunities. Requires strong account-management skills, strategic thinking, patient-focused support, and up to 75% travel. Role reports to the Regional Director, Patient Access, Plasma-Immunology, West, with responsibilities spanning education, strategic partnerships, and cross-functional collaboration to optimize therapy access across Takeda’s portfolio.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5+ years of field-based experience in account management, sales or medical affairs
  • Strong knowledge of the reimbursement landscape and the practice management environment
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute account-based strategies to drive access outcomes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Expertise in account management, relationship development, and issue resolution
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and flexibility to meet evolving customer and organizational needs
