Job Summary
Conduct daily preflight and postflight inspections, complete required maintenance tasks, and correct discrepancies reported by the pilot. Change time-life and overhaul items when due, tagging them with removal dates and accumulated cycles. Maintain accurate log pages, book entries, and component permanent record cards with authorized signatures. Perform daily cleaning of the helicopter, including wiping excess grease, sweeping the cabin, and polishing windshields before first flight. Test fuel daily, fuel the aircraft as directed, and operate motor vehicles safely. Secure the landing area by keeping unauthorized personnel away. Be knowledgeable of the Winco Operations Manual, FAA Regulations, OSHA Standards, and manufacturer maintenance manuals. Work days, nights, weekends, and in remote locations on a 3-weeks on, 3-weeks off basis.
Required Qualifications
- FAA Airframe and Power Plant license
- 2 years general maintenance training or equivalent experience with make and model helicopter/engine
- Pass FAA/DOT drug test (pre-hire and randoms)
- Legal US work status
- Current US driver's license
- Pass a DOT Physical
- Must have a minimum of six-months helicopter maintenance experience during the past 24 months
- Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50lbs and climb ladders
- Requires the ability and/or willingness to work days, nights, weekends, and in remote locations on a 3-weeks on, 3-weeks off basis
