Job Summary
Elementary Teacher (K5) responsible for leading instruction and training of scholars in the classroom or assigned grade levels, developing daily instruction plans, employing differentiated and research-based strategies, conducting interim assessments and data analysis, participating in faculty meetings and professional development, leading or assisting with after-hours activities, and engaging in faith life as a representative of Open Sky Education while collaborating with scholars, parents, and school administration to promote academic success and character development.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Valid Wisconsin teaching credential or willingness to attain one
- Minimum of 12 educational teaching credits required after 3 years
- At least 1-3 years of teaching experience, urban experience a plus
- Experience working with students and families in low-income urban communities
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Experience with school teaching platforms and technology for virtual learning
- Proven track record of student achievement results
