Job Summary
Trade UK Inflation products including bonds, swaps, and options as a market maker for corporate and institutional clients. Execute relative value trading and hedging services while creating daily market information on customer flows and trade ideas. Manage daily profit and loss reporting and utilize quantitative knowledge for complex financial modelling and valuation. Develop customized solutions for increasingly complex client needs and build trading systems for infrastructure partners. Progress from learning basic products to handling flow products and more complex instruments as experience develops.
Required Qualifications
- Quantitative bachelor's degree in a STEM subject (Finance/ Maths /Economics/ Sciences or Engineering)
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on numerical analysis, financial modelling, and data science
- Strong knowledge of Fixed Income products with a specialisation in Interest Rates
- Proven experience of building models for trading and risk management
- Demonstrated ability of writing comprehensive trading colour and making presentations on trading ideas and strategies
- Excellent networker who is comfortable liaising with clients, sales, traders
- Strong people management skills, dealing with infrastructure partners and experience of building trading systems and analytics
