Job Summary
Fibre Planner in Frankfurt leading end-to-end fibre network planning and supervision within euNetworks. Responsibilities include OSP/ISP fibre route planning, generating work packages for splicing, cost management and budgeting for splicing/testing, maintaining OSP/ISP records using GIS, contractor management, supervising fibre installations and testing (OTDR, ILM, PMD), health and safety in the field, risk assessment, site and contractor audits, data integrity and administration of the Network Inventory Management System. Candidate should have strong fibre technology knowledge, familiarity with fibre standards and testing, willingness to engage with new technologies, telecommunications education/experience, experience with network design and field service, GIS proficiency, ability to supervise contractors, and fluency in English and German, plus a valid full driving license.
Required Qualifications
- Strong background and good understanding in fibre technology
- Deep knowledge of fibre standards and testing procedures
- Telecommunication education / qualification / experience
- Experience on Network Design and Field Service
- Understanding of GIS functionality
- Ability to supervise and coordinate external contractors
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English and German
- Full, clean driving license
