Job Summary
Assist Fiber Splicers with fiber optic cable preparation, fusion splicing on single-mode and multi-mode cables, and OTDR and power meter testing. Install fiber enclosures, terminals, and telecommunications equipment while supporting aerial and underground construction crews. Read construction prints and splice diagrams, maintain accurate work records, and operate hand tools safely in an outdoor field environment. Travel to job sites as needed and adhere to strict safety policies. Requires a high school diploma, valid driver's license, and ability to lift 75 pounds.
Required Qualifications

- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds
- Ability to climb ladders and work in confined spaces
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work for extended periods
- Ability to distinguish color-coded fiber cables
- Strong willingness to learn and develop technical skills
