Job Summary
Assist experienced splicers with fiber optic cable preparation, fusion splicing on single-mode and multi-mode cables, and OTDR/power meter testing. Read construction prints and splice diagrams, then install enclosures, terminals, and telecommunications equipment while supporting aerial and underground crews. Maintain accurate work records, follow strict safety policies, and operate hand tools and basic equipment in clean, organized work areas. Travel to job sites as needed in an outdoor field environment with varying weather conditions. Requires a high school diploma, valid driver's license, and ability to lift 75 pounds.
Required Qualifications

- Ability to climb ladders and work in confined spaces
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work for extended periods
- Ability to distinguish color-coded fiber cables
