Job Summary
Manage and support the end-to-end delivery of parkwide fiber-optic and structured cabling infrastructure, from concept and design through procurement, installation, testing, commissioning, and handover. Coordinate fiber routes, pathways, and system connections with architectural, civil, MEP, and network disciplines while overseeing vendor and contractor performance to ensure quality and schedule adherence. Track design and construction progress against daily goals, maintain installation schedules, and communicate deviations early. Ensure designs provide route diversity, redundancy, and growth capacity for current and future operational needs. Serve as a fiber infrastructure subject-matter resource for parkwide systems and connected technology disciplines across Universal Creative projects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field
- Experience managing medium- to large-scale facility or campus infrastructure design and build-outs, preferably within attractions, theme parks, transport hubs, hospitality, large public venues
- Ability to produce and maintain accurate as-built drawings, test-result documentation, and Excel-based trackers for individual fibers, strands, ports, and assignments
- proficiency with Microsoft Office, Visio, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, or equivalent tools
