Job Summary
Install and repair customer FTTX broadband and voice services, including aerial and buried service drop cabling, ONTs, and network interface devices. Restore customer services after trouble ticket dispatch and complete quality control functions for other installation technicians. Maintain inventory between technicians and warehouses, document assignment of inventory, and reconcile stock levels. Track progress of feeder construction and update equipment associated with customers. Safely operate a company vehicle and work from ladders up to 25 feet. Required Qualifications
- Highschool diploma
- P.C. and Microsoft Office skills
- Ability to use optical test equipment including fusion splicers and OTDRs
- Safely operate a company vehicle
- Strong communication skills
- Initiative to work remotely with limited supervision
- Strong leadership skills
- Physically able to lift 100 pounds
- Safely working from ladders and ability to climb poles to 25'
