Job Summary
Operate and monitor fiber laser cutting machines to ensure precision in fabricated components, interpreting blueprints and technical drawings to set machine parameters. Perform setups, adjustments, and offsets for various materials while conducting quality checks on dimensions and tolerances. Maintain a clean, safe work area, load and unload materials with accurate inventory tracking, and perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize downtime. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to meet goals and accurately record production data and equipment logs. This role requires a high school diploma, prior fiber laser experience, and the ability to lift 50 lbs in a fast-paced environment with swing shifts and overtime.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Flexibility to work swing shifts
- Flexibility to work occasional overtime
Desired Qualifications
- Technical training or certifications in manufacturing or CNC/laser operation
- Prior experience operating a fiber laser cutting machine (e.g., Amada, Trumpf, Bystronic, or Mazak)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and precision measuring tools
- Strong attention to detail
