Job Summary
Perform fiber internet installations, configure Wi-Fi routers, and test FTTH service while resolving service tickets, changes, and disconnects. Execute basic fiber splicing and maintenance, diagnose hardware and software connectivity issues, and document all actions in company systems. Coordinate with dispatch, adhere to safety codes and industry standards, and meet key performance metrics for install completion and customer satisfaction. Operate company vehicles with full safety gear and respond to after-hours callouts in varying weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of fiber optics installation and maintenance experience
- 2+ years of broadband installation and maintenance experience
- working knowledge of GPON, related terminals and equipment
- basic fiber splicing
- valid driver's license
- auto insurance
- satisfactory driving record
- Ability to set up Wi-Fi networks
- diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues related to internet and Wi-Fi connectivity
- strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to utilize company systems and tools to proactively identify issues
- document actions and resolutions
- navigate multiple platforms to complete work assignments
- Ability to meet or exceed key performance metrics including install completion, quality, CSAT, and MTTR
- Ability to interact professionally with customers

- Ability to maintain a professional image
- adhere to all company safety and brand standards
- Ability to lift, push, and/or carry up to 75 pounds repeatedly
- capable of safely ascending and working on an OSHA-approved ladder at heights up to 30 feet
- Ability to work scheduled and unscheduled overtime
