Job Summary
Install fiber drop lines from poles or pedestals to homes and businesses, then troubleshoot and test fiber connections. Complete installations safely to quality standards while working outdoors in various weather conditions. Requires previous fiber drop or I&R experience, a high school diploma, and a valid driver's license with two years of driving experience. Overtime and weekend work as needed. Steady, year-round work with a rapidly growing national telecommunications company.
Required Qualifications
- Previous fiber drop or I&R experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Comfortable working outdoors and using hand tools
- Valid driver's license with at least two years of driving experience
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Ability to pass federally required drug and alcohol testing
