Job Summary
Create fiber circuits within 3GIS, prepare detailed splicing packages for field teams, and ensure accurate system updates based on redlines and corrections. Maintain and create map files in primary formats required by FBL users, manage spatial data for online server applications, and perform daily data entry for fiber plant inventory. Support GIS data exports, manage inventory updates from vendors, and provide mapping and reporting visualizations to sales, marketing, operations, and corporate teams. Requires 5 years of telecommunications GIS experience, ESRI training, and understanding of underground construction and cabling techniques.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in Telecommunications in GIS designing fiber circuits
- ESRI Training/Experience
- Experience working in 3GIS
- Previous fiber splicing experience
- Understanding of Underground Construction Techniques
- Understanding of Outside and Inside Plant Cabling and Routing
- Engineering and process design methodology
- Ability to work across multiple time zones
