Job Summary

Conduct site preparation, excavation, trenching, backfilling, and landscaping duties using hand and power tools. Safely operate and maintain company vehicles, including underground equipment like vibratory plows, while performing routine checks and reporting issues promptly. Maintain a safe work environment by following codes, standards, and legal regulations, and immediately alert supervisors of any hazards. Troubleshoot construction issues in the field and resolve customer concerns while promoting available services. Work as part of a team with minimal supervision, reading construction prints and engineering documentation. This heavy physical labor position requires lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds frequently. A valid driver's license and clean driving record are required, with a Class A CDL needed within 6-12 months. Candidates must be willing to work after hours and respond to on-call situations.

Required Qualifications

  • Able to meet physical demands with reasonable accommodation if necessary
  • This position is considered heavy physical labor and will be required to lift, push or pull up to 100 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds frequently
  • Clean driving record free from major moving violations within the last three years
  • A valid driver's license
  • Willing and able to work towards obtaining a class A CDL
  • CDL is required to be obtained within 6 months-1 year in positions that require the use of a commercial motor vehicle
