Job Summary
Assist line crews with fiber optic cable installation, including aerial work such as bucket truck operation and wood pole climbing. Operate hand tools, manage materials, and clear right-of-way undergrowth using saws or hand tools. Perform stringing, sagging, and clipping of ADSS while ensuring safe proximity to energized power lines. Notify customers of impending service disruptions during construction and perform general work area cleanup. Drive and operate the company vehicle with a clean record. Must meet physical demands for lifting over 50 pounds and be able to travel out of town.
Required Qualifications
- Must be knowledgeable and experienced in working in close proximity to energized power lines

- High school diploma or GED
- Clean driving record
- Must be able to operate a company vehicle
