Job Summary
Manage BRL on/off-ramp channels end-to-end, ensuring availability, performance, and reliability while acting as the primary contact for Brazilian banks, payment vendors, and PSPs. Lead technical integrations with local payment gateways, coordinate card infrastructure partners, and maintain operational controls including limits, reconciliation routines, and cut-off times. Monitor daily fiat operations for accurate processing and timely settlements, investigating and resolving operational incidents with root cause analysis. Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Technology, Risk, and Compliance teams to optimize payment integrations, reduce user friction, and adapt to emerging regulatory trends in Brazil. Support fiat operations for additional currencies as applicable and keep SOPs and operational documentation current.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in payment operations, banking, fintech in Brazil
- Demonstrated experience in the payments or banking industry, with a strong understanding of the brazilian financial ecosystem, local payment rails, and banking operations
- Hands-on experience coordinating technical integrations with banks, payment providers; ability to bridge communication between technical and business teams
- Familiarity with brazilian financial regulations, anti-money laundering practices, KYCcompliance, and payment industry standards
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead multiple initiatives and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Analytical thinker with a proactive approach to identifying issues and implementing effective solutions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and liaise with internal and external stakeholders including banks and vendors
- Fluency in both English and Portuguese is required (written and verbal)
