Job Summary
Lead the multidisciplinary treatment team by supervising clinical staff, conducting initial screenings and psychosocial evaluations, and designing treatment plans. Deliver direct patient services as a primary or cover therapist while documenting individual and group sessions. Manage daily operations through weekly team meetings, performance appraisals, and professional development training. Ensure accurate patient care documentation, enforce confidentiality, and implement performance improvement plans. Assign staff duties based on strengths and maintain a safe, therapeutic environment. Occasionally travel for business needs.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited college or university with a master's degree in psychology, Social Work, or Counseling
- Minimum of five years professional/clinical experience in the field of mental health social work of which a minimum of one year should pertain to a behavioral health setting
- One of the following Licenses: LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist), LMHC (Licensed Mental Health Counselor)
- Ability to work as a team member and have management, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under stressful conditions and be flexible in relation to department needs
- Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid guidelines for community mental health centers
- Demonstrates Proficiency in Verbal and Written Communication Skills
- Knowledge of State and Federal Statutes Regarding Patient Confidentiality Laws
- Knowledge of Drug-Free Workplace Policies
- Knowledge of Workplace Violence
- Knowledge of Corporate Integrity and Compliance Program
- Knowledge of current utilized technology
- Advanced English is required
- Must be able to travel to multiple locations for work (i.e. travel to attend meetings, events, conferences). Occasionally (1-33% of time on the job)
- Must be able to exert regularly up to 10 pounds of force, frequently exert 30 pounds of force and occasionally exert 50 pounds of force
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
Desired Qualifications
