FFMS- Instructional Assistant: Exceptional Children

Collaborate with classroom teachers to work with small groups of students, assisting those in need of intervention or enrichment while maintaining related records. Conduct assessments under supervision to evaluate instructional needs and organize instructional materials for small groups. Support students with special needs by adapting information to IEP goals and helping meet basic needs such as transitions and hygiene. Report student progress, incidents, and variances to supervising teachers while safeguarding all student information. Participate in meetings, in-service presentations, and professional learning as assigned. Adhere to established policies and procedures to ensure a safe learning environment.
