Job Summary
Source new investment opportunities within the US food and beverage space by connecting with entrepreneurs, investors, and advisors. Monitor global market trends and systematically track the deal pipeline. Lead workstreams evaluating business performance, conducting competitive analysis, and understanding growth drivers. Prepare investment memoranda and presentations for the Investment Committee to support decision-making. Support portfolio companies on strategic initiatives, evaluate their performance, and report findings internally. Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders while expanding your network within the ecosystem.
Required Qualifications
- A relevant Master's degree
- 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in venture capital, M&A, investment banking, strategy consulting, or a related field
- A good balance between a commercial mindset and an analytical and detail-oriented focus
- Strong communication skills that allow you to build relationships with entrepreneurs and other stakeholders in an international context
- A strong understanding of financial modeling and financial statements
- The ability to digest and synthesize large volumes of data
- A critical mindset
- A hands-on mentality
- The drive to work autonomously in a complex environment
- Willingness to travel
- Willingness to scout trade shows
- Willingness to meet founders/companies in person
- Willingness to expand your US network
