Job Summary
The Fertility Care PACU RN is responsible for delivering exceptional care in the surgical suite, preparing patients for procedures, recovering patients post-anesthesia, and ensuring patient safety. Key tasks include performing preoperative assessments, managing direct patient care, documenting care in EMR, mentoring new staff, and initiating emergency protocols when needed. This role requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and adherence to safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited nursing program
- Active RN license issued by the Washington State Board of Nursing
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum of 2-3 years' experience as a Circulating Nurse in the OR
