Job Summary
Greet customers, unload, sort, inspect, and handle non-ferrous metals while identifying, classifying, weighing, and organizing materials. Prepare incoming and outgoing shipments and maintain site cleanliness. Work safely in compliance with health and safety standards, performing any related operational tasks. The role involves manual labour and material handling indoors with occasional outdoor duties. A stable daytime schedule runs Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.
Required Qualifications
- experience in an industrial environment, recycling, or a related field
- experience operating a forklift or other equipment
- knowledge of different types of metals
- ability to perform manual labour and work indoors and occasionally outdoors
- good physical condition and comfort with repetitive tasks
- responsibility, punctuality, resourcefulness, and safety consciousness
- strong teamwork skills and ability to collaborate effectively with others
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. schedule
