Job Summary
Hang specialty product on smokehouse racks, perform grinder head checks, scale, measure, and wash product while recording data for Quality Control. Setup and remove machines, clean metal detectors, empty inedible pans, and enter information into SAP. Complete general housekeeping duties and perform job rotation as assigned. Work the 1st shift in wet, cold temperatures up to 35 degrees, standing and walking for up to 10 hours. Must lift 40 pounds at eye level and push 900-pound racks. Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP, and SQF requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift a maximum of 40 pounds at eye level and above
- Ability and willingness to push 900-pound racks
- Ability and willingness to perform basic math functions (i.e.: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
- Ability and willingness to complete all paperwork and SAP functions as required for position
- Ability and willingness to work overtime and/or weekends as needed
- Ability and willingness to comply with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF requirements
- Ability and willingness to perform any other work as assigned by management
- Ability and willingness to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
- Ability and willingness to push/pull/lift with arms below waist/at shoulder/above shoulder level with minimum of 40 pounds frequently
- Ability and willingness to use both hands for rapid mental muscular coordination, simultaneously
- Ability and willingness to reach high and low levels, frequently
- Ability and willingness to flex/grip with wrist/hands frequently
- Ability and willingness to stand/walk/climb/bend for up to 10 hours
- Ability and willingness to distinguish between basic shades and colors
- Ability and willingness to climb stairs several times per hour
- Ability and willingness to work in wet and cold temperatures at 35 degrees
