Job Summary
Review Repair Orders, diagnose service needs, and coordinate with Service Advisors and Parts Department to execute repairs on complex vehicles. Perform basic computerized programming, replace trim items, and swap commonly failed engine parts while maintaining clean work areas and adhering to safety standards. Accurately document all repairs on Repair Orders and communicate immediately with Service Advisors regarding additional work or time constraints. Maintain ongoing training and certification standards required by Ferman and vehicle manufacturers.
Required Qualifications
- 1.5 years automotive service technician experience
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Must supply own tools for general maintenance and repair work
- Ability to work weekends
- Able to work productively in a fast-paced environment
- Able to multi-task and follow complex instructions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent technical and mechanical skills
- Must be a team player and have the ability to work repetitively on complex tasks
- Must have a valid US government issued Driver's License
- Safe driving record
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Must be able to pass pre-employment background screening
- Must be able to pass drug test
Desired Qualifications
- ASE Certification(s)
- Electrical vehicle experience
- Diesel vehicle experience
- Bi-lingual with proficiency in both English and Spanish
- Ability to work weekends
