Job Summary
Review online vehicle inventory daily to ensure accuracy and troubleshoot discrepancies. Respond to in-store and online sales inquiries via CRM, chat, email, text, and social media to match guests with corresponding vehicles. Film brief vehicle overviews, schedule test drives, and accompany guests to demonstrate features and optional equipment. Coordinate the entire transaction from presentation to pre-finance paperwork, including sold vehicle delivery and warranty explanations. Prospect for new business using the dealership database and networking to develop a personal book of repeat business. Update guest profiles in the dealership database and maintain CSI scores equal to or above manufacturer requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Prior automotive or retail sales experience
- Exceptional Guest service skills
- Excellent verbal & non-verbal skills, listening and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid US government issued Driver's License
- Safe driving record
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background screening and drug test
Desired Qualifications
- Experienced at using CRM software
- Bi-lingual with proficiency in both English and Spanish
- Some college
- Passion for cars and their latest technology
- Sharp, positive, energetic
- Strong desire to achieve financial success through the relentless pursuit of achieving (and exceeding) goals for retail transactions
- Adept at building relationships with Guests using in-person communication at the dealership, as well as multiple online channels including website chat and email inquiry, phone conversations, texting and Social Media
- Embrace training & new learning to excel at product knowledge about the brands and vehicles we sell…plus competitive makes and models…and effectively overcome Guest objections throughout the sales journey
