Job Summary
Diagnose and repair Mazda vehicles using OEM diagnostic tools like the M-MDS, performing advanced repairs on engines, transmissions, and hybrid systems. Conduct routine maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections while utilizing service bulletins for factory-level accuracy. Document all repair work in the dealership's repair order system and communicate findings with service advisors regarding time estimates. Ensure repairs meet warranty and safety standards while maintaining a clean work area and adhering to OSHA procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalency
- Must be able to understand and follow instructions, training, guidance from team leaders and management
- Must exhibit personal and professional integrity
- Must have a US government issued Driver's License
- Must have a safe driving record
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Must be able to pass pre-employment background screening and drug test
Desired Qualifications
- A working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment systems and A/C equipment
- Provide your own tools
- Previous lube tech experience
- Recent completion of automotive technician training program
- Bi-lingual with proficiency in both English and Spanish
