Job Summary
Social Media Coordinator for Fenway Sports Group (full-time, in-person in Boston). Responsibilities include managing FSG’s social media accounts across platforms (Instagram, X, LinkedIn, and others as strategy evolves), publishing original content with consistent voice and quality, building a content calendar with editorial/communications teams, translating business objectives into storytelling opportunities, monitoring platforms for trends, supporting asset creation (graphics, short video clips) with in-house design/production, developing platform reporting and data-informed insights to drive communications strategy, staying current on industry trends, and collaborating with FSG properties to amplify cross-platform presence. Requires at least one year of social media experience, strong writing, platform fluency, basic design skills (Photoshop/Canva), adaptability in a fast-moving organization, and a collaborative mindset. Based in Boston or willing to relocate; full-time, in-person role.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of hands-on social media experience publishing and managing accounts for a brand, company, sports team, or media organization
- Demonstrated ability to grow an audience and publish content consistently across multiple platforms
- Strong writing skills and a feel for copy that performs, concise, engaging, and platform-appropriate
- Fluency across major social platforms including Meta, X, and LinkedIn
- Basic design capabilities in Adobe Photoshop and Canva is preferred
- Comfort with ambiguity and the pace of a fast-moving organization where adaptability is key
- A collaborative, team-oriented approach to the work
