Job Summary
Conduct daily inspections and testing of vehicles and equipment, then load trucks with necessary materials for assignments. Attend job sites with the Foreman to meet customers, install fence poles, erect fences, and tension wire per specifications. Clean job sites thoroughly, remove debris, and ensure all equipment is properly stored. Maintain trucks and restock materials for future installations while adhering to safety protocols and participating in required safety meetings. This role involves working outdoors in extreme weather conditions and requires a valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver's license with a Motor Vehicle Record within company guidelines
- Positions that require driving a vehicle with a GVWR of 10,000 lbs. or more require the incumbent to be at least 21 years old and possess a DOT medical card
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Proficiency in following detailed instructions and making occasional independent decisions
- Capability to read, analyze, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operational manuals, and maintenance instructions
- Competence in performing mathematical calculations involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
- Application of common-sense reasoning to effectively execute detailed written and verbal instructions
