Job Summary
Conduct daily inspections and testing of vehicles and equipment, load trucks with necessary materials, and attend job sites to install fence poles, erect fences, and tension wire. Meet with customers to review project details, clean job sites thoroughly, and maintain trucks while restocking materials. Adhere strictly to safety protocols, participate in required safety meetings, and work outdoors in extreme weather conditions. This physically demanding role involves frequent handling of up to 100 lbs and exposure to loud machinery. You must hold a valid driver's license and possess a DOT medical card if driving vehicles over 10,000 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver's license with a Motor Vehicle Record within company guidelines
- Positions that require driving a vehicle with a GVWR of 10,000 lbs. or more require the incumbent to be at least 21 years old and possess a DOT medical card
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Proficiency in following detailed instructions and making occasional independent decisions
- Capability to read, analyze, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operational manuals, and maintenance instructions
- Competence in performing mathematical calculations involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
- Application of common-sense reasoning to effectively execute detailed written and verbal instructions
