Job Summary
Develop and implement school policies, procedures, and curriculum while supervising and evaluating teaching staff to foster professional growth. Manage student discipline, oversee academic programs and extracurricular activities, and coordinate standardized testing and performance evaluations. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and community members to enhance student achievement, assist in budget planning, and ensure compliance with Nigerian educational policies. Act as the Principal in their absence to make critical decisions and utilize educational technology to improve teaching and learning processes.
Required Qualifications
- First degree in Education, Mathematics or English language
- At least 5-10 years of experience
- Fluency in English
Desired Qualifications
- Masters degree preferred
- Computer literate and is familiar with school administration
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff and students
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation
- Demonstrated experience in student behavior management and fostering a positive school culture
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Proficiency in educational technology and its application in the classroom
