Job Summary
Support the applicant with daily living tasks including dressing, medication administration, PEG feeding, and light housework. Assist with transfers between wheelchair, bed, and car, and help manage car seats for young children during outings. Provide companionship for appointments, day trips, and school holidays while ensuring safety during seizures. You must own a vehicle suitable for transporting a power wheelchair and two car seats, as you will travel to multiple locations. Mileage expenses are reimbursed at 55p per mile. This role requires flexibility to cover shifts, holidays, and gaps in the existing support team, with a trial period of six months.

- able to assist with light transfers
Desired Qualifications
- experience in care/ support/Personal Assistant work
- experience with younger children
- experience with a power and manual wheelchair and handling
- first aid qualifications or experience of seizures would be benefit us all
- knowledge of PEG and bolus feeding
- knowledge of administrative medication
- knowledge of seizures
- doesn't transport pets in the car
- non-smoker/vaper
- enjoys a fit and healthy lifestyle
