Job Summary
Conduct personalized daily living assistance by safely transferring clients, supporting bathing and grooming, and managing mobility devices. Maintain a healthy home environment through linen changes, light laundry, and hazard removal. Provide medication reminders, record basic vitals, and perform mind-body engagement activities like reading aloud or chair exercises. Document care notes and promptly share observations with your RN or supervisor. Work overnight shifts on Mondays and Fridays in San Mateo, reporting to 10:00 PM or 11:00 PM. Requires Home Health Aide certification, one year of home-health experience, a valid driver's license, and CPR readiness.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Home Health Aide (HHA) program (or equivalent)
- At least 1 year of paid home-health, hospice, or facility experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong written and verbal communication—you're comfortable updating digital care logs
- CPR certification (or willingness to earn within 30 days)
- Overnight shifts on Mondays and Fridays
- Mondays 10:00 PM - 8:00 AM
- Fridays 11:00 PM - 8:00 AM
