Job Summary

Required Qualifications

• •Specialized training beyond high school, but less than an Associate's Degree
• •Less than one year of progressive experience in related field along with the skills, knowledge and abilities required
• •Valid Driver's License
• •Knowledge of modern jail operation techniques
• •Familiar with court rulings relevant to handling of inmates' rights
• •Ability to deal with inmates firmly, fairly and objectively
• •Ability to receive direction and supervision from supervisors
• •Possesses basic skill in the operation of computer, and other modern office equipment
• •Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing
• •Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others
• •Ability to maintain an acceptable record of work attendance and punctuality
• •Demonstrates knowledge and actions consistent with the County's values and the County's code of ethics and conduct
• •Respects and maintains confidentiality
• •Demonstrates high moral principles and professional standards with others through truthfulness and sincerity
