Job Summary
Female Assistant Psychologist Brain Injury Linkworker role supporting adult women in prison across the Northwest. Responsible for specialised assessment and support of individuals screening positive for brain injury, administering the Brain Injury Screening Index (BISI), developing Individual Support Plans (ISP) and planned release/resettlement plans, delivering 1:1 psychosocial interventions, and collecting data for research under supervision from Brainkind. Requires psychology degree (honours, 2:1 or 1st) and experience with complex needs, plus willingness to work in a prison setting and adhere to security/confidentiality. Role involves collaboration with prison staff and external organisations to access services and reduce offending behaviour; located in Liverpool and Ellesmere Port, England. Salary £28,392 per annum; fixed-term contract until February 2028; 35 hours per week; female applicants only. Training and benefits included; DBS checks required.
Required Qualifications
- An upper second class or first class honours degree in psychology
- Experience of working with people with complex needs
- Experience of delivering 1:1 behavioural interventions
- Experience of collection and analysis of statistical data
- Willingness to work within a prison setting
- Willingness to comply with security and confidentiality within a secure environment
